    Happy to oblige.

    Forks, spoons, knives - obvs.

Everything else goes randomly into any one of a selection of other drawers (this is Mrs.M.'s preferred way).

As the spoon said to the fork, "Who was that ladle I saw you with last night?"

"That was no ladle, that was my knife."

But...I'm right-handed so need quick access to the knives, so surely knives on the right, ready to fight?

Sorry Spirit - but I'm with Klutz and Dunty on this. LtoR knives, forks, spoons.

I think that might be "swords on the right, ready to fight"...

    Agree with Dunty and

I think I might actually have to look when I get home. I'm not sure what I do.

That's because you are nice people and have never had the urge to wreak revenge.

I keep my swords in the umbrella stand...

Mine* is shaped like an elephants foot, so upon drawing my sword I can quickly put my foot in it and give any assailants a jumbo kick in the nadgers too.

Right. No wonder I couldn't remember. Left to right:

Fish knives and forks and tablespoons, then remains of an old cutlery set that is for spares and cooking purposes, then soup and pudding spoons, then forks, then knives. The small front drawer holds teaspoons, fondue forks, kiwi cutting implements and sporks.

The drawer next to it holds big stabby slicey slidey things etc in a state of chaos.

    Kiwi cutting implements!

I never knew such things existed! I'm still using a fork to fish out a teabag...

Someone on here will be telling us they use TEAPOTS, next!
