I am thinking of having some professional teeth whitening done for my wedding in a few months time. Has anyone had this done before and did any side effects become apparent?
I have quite sensitive teeth anyway and certainly dont want to make them worse or damage them in any way, simply to have a white smile.

  2. Do a search. There have been quite a few threads on this in the past.
I have sensitive teeth so my dentist wouldn't do laser whitening because he said I would pay up and then beg him to stop. I had trays and peroxide gel. It takes quite a few weeks of night-time bleaching to get a noticeable effect so I wouldn't leave it too long - the trays have to be made to order.
It was agony. Awful. The only way I could sleep through the yanging pain was by taking 60mg Codeine before bed every night. It gave me constipation.
