Last night on Channel 5 I watched the film 'You Before Me'.
I've seen it before an oh boy....................I'd challenge anyone to maintain a dry eye. This is a tearjerker requiring a monster supply of tissues.
What other films do you consider tearjerkers?
Here's the rest of my list:
    • The Railway Chiildren
    • Goodnight Mr Tom
    • War Horse
    • Tim
    • A Star is Born (Streisand/Kristofferson)
I'm sure there are loads more..............

The news bulletins give real reasons for tears and we've become immune to it.

Anything with animal deaths. I saw Frankenweenie and every time the dog died I cried. Every single time. Even though I knew the whole point of the film was that he could be resuscitated.

Salvador really upset me when I saw it too.

The Passion of the Christ- I cried solidly for about 3 hours afterwards and for several weeks after that would just burst into tears

You before me! I audibly sobbed whilst reading the book on an aeroplane, the stewards asked if I was ok! All I could do was point at the book. I don't think I can watch the film, I've got my own image of the characters.
Surprisingly well written and well developed characters for what appeared to be a "chick lit" tale. The sequel was just as good. I'm waiting for book 3 to drop to a reasonable price on kindle.
I'm struggling to think of films that make me cry.

Oh, I think I cried when Mrs Chips died in Goodbye Mr Chips. Sorry spoiler.
