Teaching... Via TES Institute? (Oh it's been a long road so far!)

    Hello,
I have just completed an Education Foundation Degree and I am topping up to complete Ba Hons- Childhood and Youth.

I am considering asking my school if they are interested in taking me on as part of the TES institute route into teaching. Is this advisable? Am I better off going onto a Graduate scheme eventually in another school? I have been at my school for 6 years (I started off as a volunteer completing my NVQ 2!).

Has anyone else gained QTS via TES Institute? Is so, what are the pro's and con's
    Thanks!

    Dear om181108,

You may find it useful to review the case study that was recently put together to share the experiences of a school that placed a number of members of staff on the Straight to Teaching programme.

If you have any other questions about the course or how it would work for you and your school you can contact one of our team on +44 (0) 203 194 3200 or email institute@tesglobal.com.

    Regards,

    Adrian Loughrey.
