Teaching theories mk2

Discussion in 'Social sciences' started by jstrahan, May 10, 2011.

  1. Hi guys,
Still finding my feet teaching AS Sociology and I have a question about teaching theories. What type of introductory lesson/activities would you do for introducing the different perspectives e.g Functionalism, Marxism etc. Also how would you help the students to remember and apply these perspectives in a fun and memorable way throughout the course (e.g for methods I know there is the PET code)-anything similar for theories ?
