Teaching the time

Discussion in 'Primary' started by senteachinginfo, Apr 15, 2012.

  1. That sounds okay to me. I usually show it on an analogue clock and ask whether the hour hand has reached the two yet. When they say it hasn't then I show that this means the hour part of the digital time must still be 1.

The easiest way to demonstrate it is to have on the IWB a clock which shows analogue and digital times simultaneously. I use one on Easiteach but I've just found this link on another thread (about interactive timers) and it looks like you can download a clock with analogue and digital time. There are probably loads of others too.
