Teaching the non-fiction exam - can you make it interesting?

Discussion in 'English' started by roa182, May 24, 2011.

  1. Help!
I have an interview this week and have been given a language focus on the non-fiction section of the aqa GCSE as my aim.
I have plenty of standard lessons on this but have always seen it as the most difficult thing to make interesting! Also I am unfamiliar with aqa but I presume the skills will be pretty similar to those on the WJEC exam?
Any suggestions for innovative lesson ideas? Please, please, any ideas would be most welcome!
