I am a final year student, studying Drama and English Literature at the University of Birmingham. This questionnaire will form a section of my dissertation for English, titled “An Investigation Into Teaching the works of William Shakespeare in Primary Education.” The reason for this research is owing to a strong passion and interest in the works of William Shakespeare but also in primary and secondary education, with the aim of eventually becoming a School Teacher myself. There is a great deal of debate surrounding the teaching of Shakespeare for children, and I would highly appreciate your opinions on the subject.
