Does anyone know what a top of the scale salary is likely to be at the BC curriculum school in RAK? What is it like working there.
I am currently working in Dubai at a "not for profit" and wondering if it would equal out to make the move to RAK what with the cheaper rent. Obviously salary would be less- but how much less?

Then why move? You're probably at the best that the UAE has to offer.

Rent would surely make no difference, as both provide accommodation, no?

I know someone who was teaching in RAK last year and they were getting circa 21k a month (salary and housing allowance combined). FWIW they said that rental costs were significantly cheaper but I have no idea what they were paying.
