Teaching kids about knights?..Tudors?...Samurai?

Discussion in 'History' started by baileyk123, Aug 31, 2012.

  1. If i taught those subjects (and that age range) in a classroom (school) setting, you would be brilliant. Regretably and i do mean regretably i don't. I think what your doing is brilliant, and i hope your successful.

  2. many thanks for the positive feedback!
How old are the kids you are teaching out of interest? At shows i have children of all ages as well as parents who are all treated the same indifferent of age,the older the kids are i find its harder for them to want to 'not look cool' by wanting to try on a helmet or brandish a sword. They all want to know about how you would of performed surgery on the field.
Tell us your thoughts and maybe i can adjust!
    cheers
