Teaching in the US

Discussion in 'Teaching overseas' started by Jitsu_Boy, Jan 5, 2011.

  1. Hi all, My fiancée and I are currently considering moving to the US for a couple of years... does anybody know how I would go about working as a teacher there? Would I have to retrain? Any helpful advice or any port of call would be really helpful here... thank you! Chris

  3. There was a small discussion about this recently, maybe a month, 6 weeks ago (the thread was "Teaching mathematics abroad - specifically America") which contained lots of helpful links. If you are thinking of coming for a short period of time like 2 years and aren't concerned about where you go VIF is a good starting point.

  4. Thank you very much Stato, really helpful!
