I'm going to start my PGCE this year, however, as soon as I can after I finish my PGCE I want to move to the USA. (Most likely to Connecticut.)

I was wondering if people had any advice on how to do this? What are the easiest routes available to go into teaching, permanently, in the United States? How does my History degree and PGCE translate, as I know some states require you to get a masters? Any advice or further links on this would be helpful.

    Thank you!
