Well, I have been to Oman five times, but I have never taught there.
I have lived and worked in Dubai for over 10 years. Came here in my 30s. Worked in international schools. Have really enjoyed my experiences here. It does have a flashy reputation but there are plenty of places and things to do where you can do relatively ‘normal’ things. Can’t Help on the qualification front but the KHDA are tightening up on teacher qualifications so might be worth contacting them to see what you need. Each such curricula may have different requirements.
