Teaching FE with a PhD

Discussion in 'Welcome lounge and forum help' started by pb24, Mar 4, 2009.

  1. Can you teach at FE colleges or AE colleges with a PhD without having done a PGCE?
Looking at recent vacancies, employers stress that you must have a degree and a teaching qualification. Having taught at undergraduate level but without a teaching qualification is it still worth applying for FE lecturer's jobs?
