How do you manage to do it all? I posted on here back in September when I first started in my new job complaining that my headteacher gave me nothing to do in the role as deputy. Boy, how I wish I shut up and just enjoyed the settling in time! I have a full time year 6 class commitment, assessment co, manager of TA's, literacy co, KS2 leader (think that may be it) along with deptuy. I can do each of the roles individually, but combining them is hard. I can never seem to be on top of everything! I get one day ppa/managment time a week, and while I get a lot done I seem to spend lots of time with other teachers and sorting out behaviour problems! I actually screamed very loudly for most of my 30 minute car journey home today! I want to do everything and want to do it all well - just need about another 10 hours in a day to get there! If anyone has any hints in getting through the to-do lists I'd be really grateful!
