A one stop shop to provide you with the information you need to help you decide whether teaching could be the right career for you.
In the current economic climate many people are considering a career in teaching. Teaching is seen as a stable job, offering the kind of job security that many other careers currently cannot offer. But how can you know if teaching is going to be right for you and if will you be able to find a job after you qualify? There is a wealth of information out there on routes into teaching and working through it may feel like getting lost in a maze.
This half day seminar on Saturday 29th January 2011 will help to focus your thoughts with sessions on:
    • How to check if teaching is the right career for you
    • What training providers are looking for in an applicant
    • Comprehensive information on routes into teaching, funding and how to apply
    • What you can expect from your life as a teacher, including information on pay and progression
    • Labour market information - how likely are you to find a job in your area after training?
£55 including VAT and registration fee
