    Do a search on the teaching overseas thread on this site. Australia has been done to death and barbecued on there.

    Just read your post again. If you only want to go for one year then probably a job swap is your best idea as the whole process of getting sorted with a job in Oz is a lenghty one by all accounts. Look here and see if it's of any help:
