Teaching abroad - Canada, Nz or Oz?

Discussion in 'Physical education' started by bazzaritchie, Jan 13, 2011.

  1. I am currently working as a visiting specialist P.E teacher in scotland and have been since I completed my NQT year in a high school. I feel quite lucky as I have managed to capture a full time, permanent contract, but the I feel I want to see a bit of the world and teach and maybe relocate with my girlfriend(nurse) to pastures new. Am I foolish to give up my job - which in comparison to my last job, stress free and easy? I feel i need a new challenge, and as we are currently not married I don't think middle east is an option!Anyone have any experience, and in particular P.E experience of teaching in canada, nz or australia, and how easy is it to make it a long term reality?
