Teachers taking drugs

    While caffeine (mis)use and to a lesser extent alcohol and tobacco (mis) use will exist amongst teachers, there will be a minority of teachers that will take illegal substances, like in pretty much any profession. The pinch point IMO is often those PGCE or equivalent teachers who may have done drugs as an undergrad who in life development terms suddenly sober up to the fact one cannot roll a doob of a school evening and not have consequences the next day!

    Times and habits change and people mess with substances to a point where the old bloke with the flat cap, whippet and pint of mild is having to endure sharing the bar with youngsters drinking shots.

    Gone forty years in the land of grey and pink you no longer have to worry about the boy scouts.

    Gone are the halcyon days of late adolescence.
