Teachers Pensions have again released a warning to schools and teachers about pension scams, which come in many different guises and aren't always obvious.

If you are approached by a private company offering 'pension advice', a 'free review of your pension' or 'home consultation' etc approach with extreme caution. Many of these are contacting schools and teachers directly either by mail or over the phone.

If you need information or advice you should only ever deal with Teachers Pensions, DfE or your teaching union or organisations approved by them (always check beforehand). Your pension is one of your greatest retirement benefits and it’s important to keep it secure.
