It wasn't a paypacket. It was a forward announcement of my pay from April and May 2011.
The 3.1% 'increase' ( in real terms a 1.5% decrease thanks to the ConLibs ) comes into effect on 11th April.
Your tax allowance should have risen by £1000, which triggered the notice. It is shown in the April and May figures to show that its not just a change for one month. Another notice will follow for the 3.1% change.
The 3.1% increase was due on 11th April. So I expect that you have around 5 days of the new rate and 25 days at the old rate which works out at 0.5%. You should get the full inrease from May.
