teacher training part time distance learning

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by tiebarton, Jul 27, 2011.

  1. Hi

I'm a professional dancer, as well as performing with various companies I currently teach at The Place, London Studio Centre and also work part time at sixth form college where I teach A-level dance and work as dance specialist to raise the profile of dance in the college and community.

I would like to gain my QTS. I need to do this part time over 2 years, post 16 + and if possible the through long distance learning. I had hoped to do it through Greenwich uni but the places are full for this September.

Can anyone advise me of anywhere else i may be able to this as I'm finding it hard to locate anywhere. I live in the Hampshire area but also teach in london once a week.
