TDA going - now what?

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by becksldrt, Jan 27, 2011.

  1. Did everyone see what happened in the Education Bill today?

The TDA's going, not sure when and not sure what that means for people waiting for them to announce places. Does anyone else know?

This was already known - it was announced in the Schools White Paper back in November that the TDA would be wound up and its functions transferred to an executive agency within the Department for Education.

It won't have any effect for this year's applicants, but it may well impact on applicants for 2012/13 onwards.
