Tamsolusin ... is it safe for women to take?

Discussion in 'Health and wellbeing' started by Mrs Mo, May 3, 2011.

  1. I've been prescribed this drug to assist with relaxing of the ureter to help pass any remaining bits of kidney stone. However, it is actually a drug for prostate problems. I've googled some info about it as I've been feeling pretty awful and wonder if it is due to the drug's side effects. The internet says it is not to be used by women!
Anyone else (female) been given this drug?
