Talk Maths

Discussion in 'Primary' started by KatharineH, Dec 26, 2011.

  1. I am a PGCE student on my first placement and would like to track down a copy of Talk Maths edited by Kate Frood.
The book is not on Amazon, Ebay or Book Depository.
It was recommended to me to help with 'pupil voice' and increase problem solving to make lessons more interesting and useful to the children. The format I have been using consists of a starter, teaching at the IWB / WB, independent work from sheets or text book followed by a plenary.
As I can't find the book anywhere any suggestions re planning maths lessons would be gratefully received.

    Thank you

Not sure if this is a similar thing, or even the same one.

I've bought it recently and it is surprisingly good. Other year group books are available.

Would definitely allow more interesting lessons.
  3. Thank you
It's not the same one but does look very good
