Any help appreciated: I have an excellent TA who has expressed a strong desire to train to be a teacher. She's looked at a variety of options, SCITT, school direct etc..
Ideally, I'd like to sponsor her and train her on the job via something like schools direct. Can I claim any of the salary back somehow?

Unfortunately not I’m afraid, you could speak to your HT or DHT / AHT (whoever is responsible for new NQTS) and see what they can do in regards to a recompense. You got nothing to loose.
