TA or LSA contract

Discussion in 'Teaching assistants' started by spirites, Nov 29, 2011.

  1. I have recently lookes at as LSA and TA contract and feel that my job has changed so much over the last 7 years that I should be paid on a TA contract. I tick most of the boxes on the job description NVQ level 3 Unfortunately we do not have professional Staff appraisals and I was wondering if I should approach my Headteacher or Governor formally in writing or informally.... What does everyone suggest? I do feel that if I don't say anything then they will be happy to pay me on a lower scale to save money.
