I have an interview and observation with group of underachieving Y5 pupils I have been given planning and seems quite simple I am just not sure on explaining some terms. What would ? Show flash cards of multiples of 10 – what do we notice? (0 end) – introduce multiples as groups of. would the groups of just be 1 group of 10 is 10, 2 groups of 10 is 20?? etc ? Use 100 square to add multiples of ten to given numbers (start with 20….) ? Independent – complete +10, +20 grids. would the grid just be a 100 square to fill in/highlight? given number plus 10 then 20?? has anyone done similar? Think nerves getting the better of me already!
