Syntax. What is it?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by gembod1, Jan 22, 2011.

  1. Hi I am a 2nd year primary ed student, I am working on APP's and every time I get to the part about checking for Syntax I get confused. I've googled it and found answers but none seem to be consistent. If i'm looking for technical accuracy of syntax, what does this mean?

Syntax is to do with the rules of the language (grammar).

  4. Specifically to do with sentence structure. ('Sentence' and 'syntax' share the same origin.)
