    Hi all

I am looking into investing in the progress tests and wondered what people thought of them or the switched on science work units.

Has anyone got any experience of using either of these packages in KS2?

Any views or reviews would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Our school have been using the 'Switched on Science' this year. I am infants and we have found that the planning is confused, flitting about from topic to topic in order to fit in with the themes. It is quite resource heavy if you try and follow it the way they want you to (desert island in the classroom anybody?). We found that the activities don't match the new science objectives very well. That said our KS2 colleagues quite like it.

Haven't used the progress tests but if they're anything like the maths and lit ones they're going to be hard....
