Supply Teaching In Cardiff

  1. I am moving to cardiff for 12 mths in October and am wondering if it is difficult to get supply work in primary schools there. Could anyone recommend some good angencies to register with? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...Thanks! [​IMG]

    lots of competition, too many supply teachers, not enough jobs and low wages. England-£100-£130. Wales £70-80
  3. Depends on who you work for and what your specialist subject is. I was teaching Science/welsh and maths and getting 100-130 a day for long term cover. Look around to see whos paying what-but teacher0 said is right.....there is a lot of competition about so general day to day cover is low. Can you speak Welsh??
