Hello! Join if you've had a BFP with a due date in the Summer of 2016!

I think I'm due June 20th, so just 5 weeks now - apparently 'it' (it's not an embryo yet so I don't know what else to call it) is the size of a peppercorn now. I'm getting obsessed with pregnancy apps.

Fingers crossed for all of us that the bean stays in nice and safe.
  2. Hi I'm due on May 9th. Morning sickness has well and truly kicked in!

Hi everyone, can I join? Had an early scan on weekend which showed a lovely little heartbeat, in the right place. My EDD is 9th June, got put back a few days at scan. They said that was nothing to worry about- I'm hoping it's true. I checked my DS's notes and the same thing happened at his early scan. 7 weeks down, eternity to go! How's everyone feeling?

My wife and I are expecting a little person at the start of June. She's been spared the morning sickness so far (we're at about 7 weeks, I think) but has been sleeping a lot. So happy after trying for 3+ years.

Hello all, can I join you?
Just had a + test today after an early miscarriage last month (5weeks). Finger crossed that this one sticks. No idea what the due date will be because I didn't have a period last month...! This will be our 2nd - we also have a 2yr old daughter.

Welcome to the thread eac and congrats again. Billybobjoe what lovely news after all that time, congratulations. Congrats pinoir, my fingers are crossed for you and everyone.

I had a bit of bleeding overnight (bright red initially, now pale pink when I wipe - sorry TMI). I had what I think was implantation bleeding 1.5 weeks ago so I don't think this is that again. I just spoke to a dr and he says to call again if it gets worse or if I get pain. My sister bled for 11 weeks when she was pregnant and her daughter was fine. It's just a tense time! I've got my check in in appointment with the midwife this Thursday.

Fingers crossed for everyone to have a sticky bean (that's what my sister called it!).

Good luck DT201 - keep us posted. Try to relax and think positive - easier said than done. I really hope to be joining you all very soon. I only joined this thread to support DT201. I have tender breasts and have had cramp like pains the last couple of days. I think this could be our lucky month. Going to take a test today or try hold off until next weekend. AF would be due on the 5th of November - but feels like an eternity to find out.
Wishing all many congratulations to the wonderful future that lies ahead for you all.x

DT201 sorry you've had a bit of spotting- how is it now? It's such a worry, especially when you've been waiting a while to get to this point. It can be so many things (as in sure you've googled!!) but no pain is really good. Hope it stops soon- are you having an early scan? Not that that changes the outcome of course, but I've heard others say sometimes they can figure out what is causing bleeding.

Welcome BillyBob and Pinoir! How are symptoms at the moment? I def have the worst ms of all pregnancies so far- went to chose a pumpkin yesterday and the sight of all the bright orange nearly made me throw up- how dramatic!

Teacher16 have everything crossed for you, make sure you let us know how you get on with testing!

Hi everyone. Fingers crossed for you teacher16. Gosh that does sound like horrible morning sickness eac902.

I've still got pale pink spotting. Also, woke up with a horrible cramp in my belly. Took some paracetamol and then haven't had any since. I'm going to call the midwife in the morning to see what they say. I hope they'll do a blood test or early scan to see if I'm still pregnant. I'm feeling surprisingly ok about it. I had convinced myself I was never going to get pregnant in the first place, so if I do miscarry it's not the end of the world, especially as it's so early on. Obviously I'd prefer everything was fine though!

Hi dt201, I really do hope everything is ok for your little bean, stay positive in case he or she is still happy in there. Just wanted to share what happened to me.

In February this year I miscarried at 5 weeks. I had pale pink spotting which turned into what was like a normal, if not slightly heavier period. I had no cramping or anything. I went to the gp and explained what was happening but they wouldn't do anything. Not even a scan or blood test. They said a scan would be too early to see anything and a blood test would still show up too much HCG to know what was happening. They advised me to test again in a week and see if I was still pregnant. I did a test that day anyway and it had gone back to negative. My miscarriage was exactly like a period with nothing to see except what you'd normally see during a period. My cycle went back to normal straight away. I managed to get a BFP shortly after and I'm now 31 weeks pregnant. Just wanted to share my experience in case your gp doesn't offer any testing etc.

Fingers crossed that everything is fine. Take care xxxx

Thank you coolgiraffe. I'm sorry that you had to go through a miscarriage but I'm really happy it's worked out for you now. It's reassuring to hear.

Gosh your gp doesn't sound very nice! I'm not feeling especially hopeful as some of my pregnancy symptoms have gone - I'm no longer constipated and my boobs are less tender, but I'm trying to keep an open mind. I need to stay away from google as one minute I'm really hopeful then the next definitely not. Will just have to wait and see.

We had an early scan today and all is fine! Initially she told us we'd have to come back in 2 weeks as she could only see the sac and she thought it might just be too early. But then she changed a setting and did spot it hiding in the corner. It's just a fuzzy blur really but we did see the heart beat flickering. Still very early days but we're really happy and surprised that it's still there! Thanks for your support ladies xxx
