  1. It's my birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and my OH has asked me if there's anything I would like. I am very fortunate to have possessions I both want and need and have said ther's nothing in particular and that a small token gift is all that is required, if any gift is required at all. My OH is adamant however and wants me to make some suggestions.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am a female in my mid-30s. I like the outdoors, reading, sports and travel.

Sort of hard to say without knowing you or the budget.
I would ask for a Smeg fridge though, I think.

    A surfing lesson.
  5. The one thing I had thought about was a golf lesson as, if I improve a bit, it's something we could do together.
  6. Meal at a nice restaurant

    Weekend away

    Trip to the seaside/country/city

    Visit to the cinema/theatre

I would appreciate time with MrRF so any of the above

Golf won't change your life - catching a clean wave will ;-)
  9. Ask him to do all the housework, washing, ironing and cooking for a week!

A huge donation, in your name, to the Doomzebra Foundation
  11. If he's that bothered he should think of something you'd like. Otherwise, picking a gift for the sake of it seems daft - why not ask him to hold off but keep the money aside for the next time you do really want something.

    Kindle? (You mentioned reading)
Activity weekend away (cooking, jewellery, golf, rather than white water rafting etc although that is also fun)
Nice handbag or shoes you'd never 'waste' money on yourself.
Jewellery (notonthehighstreet has some lovely pieces)
    Something for the house
    Concert/Theatre tickets
  15. A kindle
