Hi all, does anyone have any good ideas for doing like a summary thing or bringing together of knowledge / test of Year 6 at this time, before they finish their school career of French? I was thinking of just making a little presentation about themselves with all the main stuff we have done..but not sure?

Are you thinking of a video presentation?
Because I used to get the children to make up plays with puppets.

    1) Create their own presentation by using a story board (loads of templates are available online) and read it to the rest of the class? They would colour it in to make it more engaging. They could do it on Slide / Power Point.
    2) Test their listening skills by using Quizlet, then they could self-asses. Provide them with the link beforehand so that they could revise at home.
    3) 'Classic' short paragraph about themselves based on the vocabulary that they have accumulated.
    4) Speaking activity in small groups and they could record themselves whilst doing it. All students have the same list of questions but they have come up with their own answer. Their peers will have to successfully translate what they said.
