Suggestions for a good book for Year 4 - please help!

Discussion in 'Primary' started by ryellow2012, Mar 31, 2012.

  1. I am planning on running a book club in school and the majority of children interested are in Year 4. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good book I can start with that would be about an average Year 4 reading level? It can't be too long and would prefer it not to be gender specific.
    Many Thanks!

  3. Mine loved Dear Olly and Kaspar. Anything by Micheal Morpurgo usually goes down well.
Or why not try a Roald Dahl like The Twits- a good funny book would engage them
I've also read There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom to mine which they adored.
