1. Hello, I am looking
for some advice and was hoping I might find it here. I have been teaching Skills for Life [Maths,
English and ICT Basic, Key and Functional Skills] for the past 5 years in FE
colleges. I would however, like to teach Maths, Physics or Chemistry in
secondary schools. I have a PGCE
secondary in Art and Design with QTLS.
Although technically I am qualified to teach in secondary schools I do
not feel that I would be confident in teaching the subject I am interested in.
Does anyone know of any recognised ways to improve my proficiency in these
areas?

Luke
