In which direction is the bus travelling, and how do you know?
Apparently, children's logic can get it easily, but adults are left baffled.

(Honest disclosure: I couldn't work it out in as long as I cared to try.)

It looks like it might be on the left hand side of the road so it would be going to the right if it is in Britain.

Are the stripes on the windows a clue?

To the left because the headwind is blowing the curtains to the right.

It might have been better to ask "which country is this bus in?"

Then you'd know which way it was travelling.

There are no doors showing,so I agree with InkyP

To the right - because it looks as if you can see window wipers on the right-hand side front.

Presuming it to an American school bus, it is travelling to the left because the door will be next to the pavement, and the driver will be seated on the side facing us.

@Vladimir , I would have preferred the options:

    To the left
    To the right
    Step it up
    It's all right

i can't see any pavement, there are no curtains, and what looks like windscreen wipers is probably the edge of a building.
most of my kids would say it was parked.

    So what do children say?
Since the door is on the back, I'd say it's facing to the right... but that doesn't mean it is travelling at all.

I would have thought that the question itself conveyed that it was travelling, not parked.

Yes, but it could be reversing.

I thought that too! I was also looking at the shading on the wheel hubs, but it is, in fact, simpler than that.

You are pretty much on to the answer they give as correct.

Channel your inner child and it all becomes clear

I'm in my 2nd (possibly 3rd) childhood so I have an advantage :)
