    Hello everyone

I have applied for a student finance application, however I think it will come late - so that means it will be paid late to the university.
I am really struggling with finances at the moment too so would never be able to pay for the degree myself - I really don't want to have to quit. I don't think my uni offer any grants or anything.

Does anyone know of anywhere that lends free grants for students? NOT LOANS

    Many thanks
    please help

The best thing to do is to phone and ask them. They may defer payment until your student loan comes through.
You want someone to lend you money but not a loan?

Universities will often have hardship funds. They usually help people struggling to eat or pay rent. I doubt they would pay your fees. You really need to talk to the people running your course.

Contact your University welfare department (and also the Student Union?).
