I wonder if anyone can help? After quite a few days searching, I am struggling to find a story based on the Romans. I need to adapt a story (we use the story telling approach) for my YR3/4 class.
I was hoping to link the English, as much as possible, to our Roman topic this term.
Any suggestions will be very gratefully received.
    Thank you.

You can learn this one easily enough and use it for Storytelling:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Boudicca-Famous-People-Lives/dp/0749643617/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1312750624&sr=1-5

is another excellent storybook for that age.

This last is my personal favourite though.

This is the one you need, it is a picture book, ideal for the 'story telling' approach:

"Escape from Pompeii" by Christina Balit (from Amazon)
