How did you find it? There's so much on the TES, who's to say this doesn't happen more often?

I think this idea by @richardtock on the Plagiarism thread deserves repeating as it has a lot of merit.

By accident. I was just searching christmas maths and there it was number one in search.

I have informed TES of other resources that look as though they've been lifted from the internet for free then sold on by the same author.

If an author seems to have a million different subjects and different styles of planning in their repetoire, either they're extremely talented and creative or there's something fishy going on. Certainly no school employs that teacher to teach that many different subjects (unless they're cover, I suppose).

Or Primary! Sorry I'm wrapped up in my own secondary world.

Unless, of course, they are a publisher for teachers.

True - but this particular person claims on their profile that they are a teacher.

Or....share your resources for free. Give a little bit....

Nice you waited two months before jumping in with your little sneer. Or have you been hunting for fresh bridges?

Would you mind popping round to teach my neighbours kids for free? (like 'give a little bit') thanks

Alerted to this thread by the new post, I'd thought I'd follow the link in the OP. I'm surprised that the seller Polaphuca has not been banned and had all resources removed from the site with so many pirated resources already mentioned in this thread.

Here's another to add to the list -

is a direct copy of this one I found that is freely available by Googling.

The clue was that the file name had the American spelling theater instead of theatre.

Unless some action is taken by @tesAuthorTeam - especially once a 'seller' has been reported for profiting from the plagiarism of others' work then the problem will continue.

Look who has popped up on the top resource picks. Still selling :( - and yes, the resource I pointed to in my last post on February is still for sale - so obviously no action was taken by the @tesAuthorTeam

This plagiarised resource was pointed out back in December - since then at least one person has paid £3 for the resource and left a (poor) review. It is not fair that teachers are paying money for these resources that have been created by others and are available free of charge on the 'net when TES have had their attention drawn to the activities of this member.

Yeah, but, that 'author' is showing 30,000 plus downloads. Think how much TES has made out of that.
