We have very limited space in London.
For the first time ever, it’s occurring to me to do the same.
Gin in square bottles takes up less space than wine.
The wisest counsel I have received in a long time!
I will stock up on Cooper’s marmalade.
are you back in London? What are you stocking up on?
I assume this is some sort of corona virus scaremongering? Either that or is it something to do with London stocking up on migrant workers??
@nizebaby, your post implies you have more room elsewhere. Could you not go and stockpile there instead?
Locking down London because Corona Virus has arrived there?
Bolted, horse, door, stable, after, locking etc
Austria closed its border with Italy overnight, then reopened it, and is now having high level government meetings to decide whether or not to close it again.
I didn't even know it was possible for EU countries to close borders between each other.
Ok. I wondered when the panic buying would start.
Surely people have their No Deal Brexit stash?
Nizebaby, you could just stay where you are?
Article 28 of the Schengen Borders Code allows it.
Perhaps Amazon deliveries will still be allowed if there is restricted movement. It should be safe enough. The closest the delivery drivers tend to come to meeting other people tends to be when they post the card through the door telling you where they hid the package.
I did wonder about those Italians queuing outside a supermarket that couldn't open in case of disorder. It would seem that going home and ordering online might be best.
I have about 14 days supply of cat food. He won't starve. As for me, what does roadkill badger taste like?
Not too bad (stock up on some onions and turn it into burgers).
A gourmet could tell you whether it was radial or cross-ply which did for the badger.
Is it part of a sett menu?
It's been done a number of times in the past. Austria closed its border with Slovenia between November 2015 and January 2016 and its border with Italy in 2016, as a response to European migrant crisis.
I didn't know that. So are there checkpoints sitting closed up ready to be brought online?
