Steinberg Sequel

  1. Just bought Sibelius 7 and also Steinberg Sequel multi site. What are people's experiences of it? Thanks :)

    Bought Sequel this year as a starting point, before introducting students to Cubase/Logic, etc. The students love it and it's pretty easy to use. The obviously down side is that it encourages students to 'cut and paste' pre-existing loops, but you can also edit the loops and compose your own, for those students who are ready to move on to something more creative. Adding effects is really easy, so it's a good way to teach about filters, panning, EQ, etc. Also a good way to teach structure and texture.
