Just received the employment contract from India via courier.
Yup. It's all there - I just need to secure a work visa with the aid of the fantastic supporting letter written by the Headmaster.
Weather there: 35 deg . Weather here: rainy and cold.
    Come ooonnnnnnnnn August!

  3. Where in India? It might be 35 deg and very sticky and not that pleasant to travel too and from work in, assuming you have ac at school and home.

It is very humid in Mumbai at the moment and still two months till monsoon.

  4. Yay for receiving the contract that's great! Good luck obtaining the visa, sounds like you'll be just fine. All the best :)

    Thank you pp.
It's in Bangalore and (checks iPhone) 32 deg at the moment.
I'll just need to get a couple of linen suits made - laundry and ironing is provided as part of the accommodation.
