Starting induction year on supply in a different subject?

    If I was you I'd say yes to being there and yes to stating induction.

    Look at the standards, even outside your specialism, I bet you can meet many of them already. And you will have much of next year to meet the ones that relate to subject knowledge and bits that you can't do yet.
     
  2. Just to confirm now that the school know it is going to employ you for at least a term (more) then you should be registered and placed on induction and this can be completed in another subject - though no allowance for this is given in meeting the standards. Who pays you is immaterial.
