Spelling, punctuation and grammar in GCSE science

Discussion in 'Science' started by missrowson, Apr 4, 2012.

  1. Hi. I'm a PGCE student that is currently doing my GCSE project on the impact of the introduction of SPAG in Science GCSE . I was wondering whether anyone remembered when they used to test SPAG at science GCSE before? Any ideas why they stopped it?

  2. For reliable information that you can reference in the bibliography of your project report, write to the exam boards to ask this question. Alternatively, get access either to their old syllabus specifications or past papers and mark schemes which may also give you this information.
Helpful though we may all be on this forum, we have failing memories and would offer anecdotal and subjective responses which will not serve you well!
