Speaking open interaction

  1. How many marks do you take off in an open interaction if a student does not ask a question?

    Edexcel? It is on the website somewhere. Off the top of my head it is -2 for no questions and -1 for only one question. But you need to check this!

    That's correct for Edexcel.

    They are expected to ask 2 questions so you're basically docking a mark for every question they don't ask.

    Our open interaction task this year was a job interview, so if they don't ask any questions we ask them "Avez-vous des questions?" and they normally come up with something.
