Afternoon. Can anyone recommend a good book to read in English with a year 6 class which would link to our space topic, preferably with bags of planning/resources online?! Cheers.

Don't know about planning etc but Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce is fab.

Cosmic is great and yes there is lots of planning online.
Boom! by Mark Haddon also excellent.

Aquila by Andrew Norris is a slightly tenuous link, but they do find a spaceship. It's a good read and there are loads of resources online. I've used it very successfully in the past.

Are you just looking for Fiction books?

If not, how about Hello, is this is planet Earth? My view from the International Space Station. Lots of things to look at SPAG wise, whilst being accessible for year 6. There are lots of opportunities for cross curricular working from Geography to Science. I don't know of any resources online for it, but I don't think it would be that hard to make.
