I am wanting to base a poety unit on a space theme. Does anyone know of any good poems about space suitable for year 5? I am wanting to focus on figurative language/ feelings and can only find poems suitable for younger children

I have three Pie Corbett Space Poems on a PDF, but I'm not sure where I got them from! If you give me your e-mail address I'll send them to you.

I don't know if these will do as they are about the Moon rather than 'Space' but they do use figurative language.
Silver by Walter de la Mare:
    Moon by Ann Bonner
    A white face
    in the night.
    A ten
    pence piece
    in the dark
    of your pocket
    secretly bright.

    A cold light
    with winter's
    A sliver
    a shiver of ice.

    A melon slice slung
    in a sky spiced
    with stars.
    An ivory horn
    still there
    with the dawn.

    And a great
    golden plate
    risen with dusk.
    Coming to rest
    low over fields
    with harvest.
