I would have agreed with you about Stairway to Heaven a few years ago - if I was ever on Mastermind my specialist subject would be "The lyrics of the songs on the album Led Zeppelin 1V" - but I'm fed up with it now, turn it off when it comes on Rock Radio!

You do realise that the expression 'Losing My Religion' refers to losing one's temper, not anything religious, don't you?

Yes harsh, of course I understand what the song refers to but I just think it would be entertaining hearing "That's me in the corner........" blasting out in church!

It's the irony of the title that's important to me, not the lyrics or meaning, particularly as Michael Stipe is a lapsed Catholic.
