St John's CofE Primary School in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, issued a letter after parents reported the class B drug "being used" around the site.

The letter said it had been "noticed" by some older children, adding it is a "serious safeguarding concern".

Police have been made aware of concerns and will be working with the school

I'd have called the police as soon as having it reported to me (if I were the HT).

Best to confiscate it and then check it with the bong (just to be sure) before reporting it to the authorities.

Teachers have no power to confiscate things from parents - especially outside the school gates. I'm afraid doing this would lead to confrontation and/or violence...

No chance - everyone would be too CHILLED for violence
